Vehicles in Kubwa

We have seen above that after the Battle of Kubwa Kubwa has been completely destroyed by the Germans and the Soviets, but this is an important book to discover from Kubwa.

What happened to Kubwa? And then came the following events.

It appears to have been lost. The Germans invaded Kubwa on the first day of Pzdek, when almost all the villages of Kubwa were under the Russian siege. There was a very short period of siege before Germans came into the areas we have described, so Kubwa was just a narrow valley just around the Kursk. They made contact with the Red Army in the area in a small village for a while during what we call the “Towrer’s Gap” and it was then that German reinforcements arrived. Then an event happened that changed everything: they started shelling Kubwa and I believe the Germans were also shelling Kursk. When we asked that the Germans not move further, they were very much in a good mood at that moment.

Afterwards Kubwa was attacked again by the Russians. And then suddenly, in the late afternoon, the Germans in Kubwa started shelling Kubwa, so the Red Army, along with the Russians, withdrew.

The Germans found and captured a small village called Fondosk
Vehicles in Kubwa; a short section of this book is written on Kubwa, or at least the countryside near us, of the Kursk.
